normal butane
motor gasoline additive to increase vapour pressure and to provide octane; chemical feedstock for isomerization plants
iso butane
once used entirely as the main feedstock for a refinery's alkylation process, it is now coveted by manufacturer's of MTBE, an environmentally safe octane additive, as their main feedstock
condensate
the pentanes and heavier are usually blended into gasoline
